There should always be consequences of bad behavior and crimes committed but prison is a terrible idea in that prospective. Prison system clearly doesn’t work. One important reason is throwing a bunch of badly behaved people together where the only options are to learn and be good at the game, or to become a never ending victim of the more dangerous people.
